I had a lovely little jewelry box, but it was so heard to find earrings, and many of my necklaces were way too long to hang properly. I had seen several different earring and jewelry racks around, but many of them did not accommodate for stud earrings. I decided to take the basic idea of those designs and improve it with some cork. The wine corks at the top provide a place for stud earrings to rest, while the metal grid (which actually is from a dry wall repair kit) allows other earrings to hang. Push pins on the bottom and sides allow bracelets and necklaces to hang without getting tangled. I've been using this method since February and I must say it is working out pretty well for me.
