I've always enjoyed this wine. Tonight the hubs was grilling steak, and while I typically prefer whites during the summer, you don't get much better with steak than this wine. The bouquet is quite floral, and almost fruity. It's a very dark red color, and the flavor is very dark and smoky. There are hints of fruit, particularly a bit of blackberry. Also, this may seem like a no-brainer, but there is strong grape flavor in this wine. This wine is also getting me geared up and ready for fall. It's about time for sweatshirts and jeans.
