Thursday evening the hubs and I had the pleasure of joining a million other parrotheads at Jimmy Buffett's first concert in Virginia Beach in 11 years. We had a fabulous time. I saw an advertisement in the ampitheatre for their new Spiked Tea and Lemonade. When we saw themt in Total Wine last night, we decided to give the tea a try.
First of all, let me say this is not a Long Island Iced Tea. This will not make you happy if you are looking for a substitute for that. It is, however, very good. Definitely tastes like a slightly sweetened black tea (not sweetened to Southern proportions) with a little bit of a kick. Very easy going down-and I can see where this would be easy to drink one too many of and not realize it till it's too late.

I was very excited about this product. It was awful! Just to be safe I had two other people try a one and we all concluded it tasted terrible - in fact it was completely undrinkable. I was extremely disappointed.
It's just ok. I wouldn't buy it again but I'm gonna drink it since I don't want to waste it. It has a weird flavor to it that I can't put my finger on. Twisted Tea is a whole lot better than this so if you want a tea drink you should go with that instead.
I really like this drink. It tastes strong but it's nice, and a lot stronger than I thought it would be. I will be getting this again, even though it has a lot of calories.
