I brought this wine over to enjoy with a good friend the other night while we cooked up a seafood feast (and by feast, I mean steamed shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, crab dip, and lobster cake). We each enjoyed a glass of this while cooking (and enjoying the crab dip), and it was quite enjoyable. The best part, though, was when actually paired the shrimp and the wine together. The wine brought out the flavor the shrimp, and vice versa. A lovely, lovely pairing. It's rare that I get to enjoy shellfish (the hubs is allergic), so I really enjoyed this meal.
